Base Camp 2019
February 16th - 18th
Fredericksburg, Texas

One of the most important things that you can do to prepare for your upcoming cycling or triathlon season is to establish a nice base of mileage before getting into the higher intensity pace of racing.  Base Camp is an opportunity to validate the work you have done, or kick off your more serious training.
This weekend camp will focus on some longer mileage and a fair share of hills.  Throughout the weekend and before you will receive expert coaching to help you meet your goals.
This will be another great base camp, so get your calendars marked and accommodations completed.

For those looking to run a late Winter Half Marathon we recommend the 3M Half Marathon in Austin on January 20th  since Base Camp coincides with the Austin Marathon weekend.
Day 1 Saturday, February 16th
We will have rides from approximately 35-40 to 80+ miles

Day 2 Sunday, February 17th
We will have rides from approximately 35-40 to 80+ miles

Day 3 Monday, February 18th
We will have rides of approximately 25 and 45 miles.

The camp headquarters will be at "the ranch" this year.  There are cabins with one and two bedrooms.  You can browse the accommodations at the same website as the Country Inn Motel.  Make your own roommate plans or use the message board on the Fit2Train website (under "resources") if you need a roomie or two.  If the cabins fill up or if wildlife intimidate you (there is running water as well as electricity), two in-town alternatives are listed below.
