Here's all the information you'll need for
Prog On The Ranch
DATE / ADDRESS: "Prog On The Ranch" will take place from Thursday April 28th, through Saturday April 30th. Our address is: The Crimson Sky Ranch, Phillips Rd, Masaryktown, FL 34604. Gates will open each day at 8am.
NOTE: We strongly suggest that all musicians who are performing on The Grid arrive on Thursday or plan to be here very early on Friday morning as the Music will begin at approximately 9:30am. Thursday is our load-in day for tent campers and those with RV's to set up. All are welcome to join us as we set up the stages, do sound checks for each featured band, and get everything ready to go for the weekend. For Thursday's first-get-together of the weekend, we will be serving up a huge free barbeque dinner for whomever is here, and plan on lots of live music on our new "open mic stage" in the afternoon, and around the firepit on Thursday night (weather permitting). Everyone is welcome!!

The music will begin on both Friday and Saturday at around 9:30am (rain or shine), and will end by 10:00pm. (HARD STOP) This is a one-of-a-kind event, the main genre being progressive rock (which is how this whole thing began), but many different genre's of music will be performed by over 70 musicians from all over the USA and beyond!!
We have two stages, fully equipped with pro sound & lighting. A team of Stage Coordinators as well as excellent Sound & Lighting Engineers will all work together to keep the music flowing efficiently, and sounding great! Since we have TWO FULL DAYS of live performances here at the ranch, we should collectively be able to perform approximately 90 songs on The Grid throughout the weekend. This is partially dependent on the weather being favorable of course, although the music will continue "rain or shine".
FOOD, DRINKS, ETC: A full country breakfast/brunch buffet will be served from 9:00am until 11:00am on Friday & Saturday morning. We will also have three excellent food vendors on the property with a great selection of food and beverages from Noon until 9pm. We will not be serving alcoholic drinks but you're welcome to bring your own. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Bottled water, coffee & tea will be available at no cost throughout the entire event.
COST: There is one single gate fee of $60 per person for the entire event ($55 if you pay online in advance). Your gate pass includes a terrific home cooked breakfast buffet each morning. Your gate fee will help us recover a percentage of the costs involved, including..... ongoing stage construction, food, beverages, band fees, equipment rental, sound, lighting, seating, electricity, sanitary facilities, clean-up & septic services, plus reseeding the pasture afterwards, and much more.
TRANSPORTATION & HOTEL: The best way to get here from Tampa Airport is to take Uber, a taxi, or another car service. If you are renting a car, we're really easy to find, just be sure you have GPS, or call us for the best directions. We're around 35 miles north of the Tampa Airport via the Suncoast Parkway. Lots of people are flying into Tampa the night before the event. It may be easier than you think to arrange a carpool with some of the other attendees. Post some messages on the "Prog On The Ranch Facebook Page" to help facilitate that.
For those of you who have inquired about camping.... you are very welcome to stay with us at the ranch at no additional charge! We have 20 acres to stake out your own campsite, and we will actively help you procure tents and RV's, sleeping bags, and equipment. Please check the Prog On The Ranch Facebook Discussion page for more info. If you're looking for more traditional accommodations, we recommend the Hampton Inn on Commercial Blvd in Spring Hill which is very reasonable and also includes breakfast.
For those who will be attending Cruise To The Edge following POTR: The "Ranch-to-Port" Express Bus will be arriving at the ranch at Noon on May 1st. to transport you to Cape Canaveral in time for the Pre-Cruise show, at the Radisson Hotel. There will be plenty of room on the bus for your luggage and instruments. There are just a few seats remaining. Contact Bill or Devora if interested.
"Prog On The Ranch" is a private event, which takes place on private property, and is by INVITATION ONLY. However, we want to see YOU here, so please contact us directly if you would like to attend and we'll send you an invitation :-)
See you at the Ranch!!!
