WAIVER

Waiver: By checking the box below, I acknowledge and agree that (1) I have no knowledge of any physical impairment or condition that would limit these participants from participating in this program, (2) I fully understand and assume the risks involved in participating in camp activities, (3) I release VBC, the VBC director and VBC staff from any and all liability and damages of any kind arising out of or relating to participation in this program, and (4) I authorize the VBC staff to act for me in securing or providing immediate medical treatment, and I release VBC, the VBC director and VBC staff from any liability in securing or providing such medical treatment. 

Participant parents or guardians are required to carry their own health insurance for the registered player(s) in order to participate in any Virginia Baseball Club program.  Click on this box to acknowledge that your child is covered by your family health insurance.

For all Arlington County camps: Hold Harmless Agreement – As consideration for the right to participate in the Virginia Baseball Club camps and/or other activities and services provided by the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, it agents and employees, I, on behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, and successors, hereby covenant to hold harmless and indemnify the County and all of its officers, departments, agencies, agent and employees from all claims, losses, damages, injuries, fines, penalties and costs (including court costs and attorney’s fees), charges, liabilities, or exposures, however caused, resulting from, arising from, arising out of, or in any connection to my or any minor family members participation in the above described program. I have read and understand this INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT and by checking the box below agree to its terms.

Summer Camp Refund/Switch/Inclement Weather Policy:
  To cancel a registration, you must give a 14-day written notice to receive a refund or credit toward a future camp.  A 25% service charge will be assessed on each camp refund.  To transfer a registration, location or week, you must also give a 14-days written notice. A $35 charge will be assessed for any request to move or switch camps.

If there is inclement weather prior to the start of camp, call the VBC or check the VBC website for information on camp status.  If inclement weather comes during the day, we will take shelter.  You can pick up your child at any time.  We will not leave until each child has been signed out.  If a camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, the VBC will issue a credit in the amount of the cancelled day. That credit may be used for any future VBC camp for up to one year. No cash refunds will be issued due to weather cancellations or personal reasons.
