AAPA is seeking PAs to serve on the Commission on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for a two-year term beginning July 2022. The deadline to apply is May 25, 2022.
The Commission on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion was created to review AAPA policy to identify opportunities for creating resolutions for HOD consideration, to develop and promote strategies around health inequalities and AAPA's national health priorities, and to serve as healthcare subject matter advisors as it relates to health equity and inclusive work environments. The commission will also support efforts along with PAEA and ARC-PA to diversify the profession and mobilize the PA profession as leaders in identifying the inequities and enhancing best practices to close health equity gaps. The commission will conduct its work via conference calls and via email.
Please note that in accordance with AAPA Policy BA 2400.3.1.0, commission members who are PAs must also be a member of a constituent organization.
