2025 Diversity Award Application

This award recognizes a PA or PA group that serves as a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the PA profession and/or the patient population or community that they serve.

Application Tips:

  • The deadline for completed applications, with all supporting documentation, is 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, February 10, 2025. Applications and supporting materials received after this date will not be considered.
  • Be as complete as possible when answering the questions below.
  • Ensure all dates, organization names, committee titles, etc. are clearly and accurately stated.
  • Only electronic applications and supporting documentation will be accepted.
  • All materials and supporting documentation must be uploaded and submitted using the form below. 
  • No application will be considered complete at time of submission without all supporting documentation.
  • All submitted documents must be in PDF format. To convert a Word document to a PDF, follow the instructions found here.

Diversity Award Eligibilty:

  • Individual applicant must be a current AAPA fellow or retired member in good standing. 
  • Group must be either led by a PA who is an AAPA member or composed of a simple majority of PAs, of whom at least one PA is an AAPA member.
  • Individual applicant or any group member may not be a current AAPA Board member or staff, or staff of an AAPA constituent organization at the time of nomination or award.
