HOD Student Delegate Application

Applications due Sunday, June 23, 2024.

All AAPA student members interested in becoming involved with AAPA at the national level are encouraged to apply for a position on the student delegation to the House of Delegates (HOD). Pre-PA students that have been accepted into a PA program and have updated their AAPA membership to a student membership are also eligible to apply. All applicants must be graduating after June 23.

The student delegate term begins July 2024 and concludes June 2025. The HOD will convene in Location TBA from May 16-18, 2025. Elected student delegates are expected to attend this meeting during their term. Students with graduation days of May 16-18, 2025 are not eligible to apply.

Student delegates are elected by the Student Academy Board of Directors to represent PA students from across the country during the HOD. Issues being tackled in the House include policy changes, improvement of clinical practice, and advancement of the profession. Prior to Conference, students will communicate with other delegates and AAPA leaders to gain a deeper understanding of the workings of the HOD.

Please feel free to contact the Student Academy Staff Advisor at students@aapa.org if you have questions.

A signed Program Director form is required to submit an application (attached).
