PA Political Action Committee (PAC) Trustee

AAPA’s Political Action Committee (PA PAC) is seeking a new member to serve a four-year term on its Board of Trustees. PA PAC is the only federal healthcare PAC dedicated to advancing the PA profession. Trustees lead by example and encourage eligible AAPA members to donate and build a robust PAC to benefit the future of the profession.

Requirements: strong history of giving to PA PAC over several years (and at increasing levels) and participating in AAPA advocacy initiatives; understanding of and commitment to the role of PACs in the political process; comfort with and willingness to solicit peers and volunteer leaders for financial contributions; and a current AAPA membership. Prior service as an AAPA or CO leader is strongly recommended. Learn more about the PA PAC at www.aapa.org/PAC.

The time commitment is two hours per month (except during Conference) and includes three to four conference calls per year. Trustees must attend AAPA's Leadership & Advocacy Summit (LAS) or Conference (travel not covered by AAPA).

Applications are due at 5:00 p.m. ET on May 29, 2024.
