Commission on the Health of the Public Application

AAPA is seeking PAs to serve on the Commission on the Health of the Public for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2024. The deadline to apply is Sunday, June 2, 2024.

The Commission on the Health of the Public is charged with reviewing opportunities for AAPA participation in the development or endorsement of external clinical guidelines and position papers, evaluating potential AAPA participation in external clinical outreach opportunities, and conducting AAPA policy gap analysis regarding emerging clinical public health issues. The Commission on the Health of the Public conducts its work via conference calls and via email. Conference calls are held monthly at a minimum, or more, if needed. Ideal applicants will have a working knowledge of and/or experience with AAPA's House of Delegates (HOD).

Please note that in accordance with AAPA Policy BA 2400.3.1.0, commission members who are PAs must also be a member of a constituent organization.
